Auburn Gresham · Chicago’s South Side

Where community ideas become community action.

For more than 50 years, the Brookins family has served Auburn Gresham and Chicago’s South Side. We don’t start with programs — we start with people, and help their ideas become reality.

How We Work

We don't start with programs.
We start with people.

Every neighborhood has people who know its strengths and its challenges. Our role is to help them turn ideas into action.

We Listen First

We start by listening and building relationships, because the people who live here know its strengths and challenges best.

We Bring People Together

Neighbors, organizations, businesses, faith communities, and partners collaborate toward common goals.

We Help Turn Ideas Into Action

We connect people with resources, partners, and expertise to make good ideas real — not to tell communities what they need.
